We are very pleased to announce our first partnerships with local companies to sponsor our Development Teams
Kimco, a Kelowna based specialist in HVAC, Automation, and Controls has sponsored our continually improving U12 Girls team with a tracksuit and backpack deal that will see our girls looking very sharp indeed in the new year.
D.R.Robertson Injury Law, a Vernon based Injury Law firm, will be sponsoring our excellent U10 Boys with a kit deal that will see them as the first boy’s team to convert to the new sky blue strip
Both firms will be featured on the development team pages on this website and will also feature on the team pages of our new Development Teams website currently being developed.
Thank you to both these companies for their generous sponsorships, and welcome to our Soccaskool Family!

Our Soccaskool U11-12 Development Team were unusually slow to start during last weekends Penticton Easter Invitational Tournament. They started the tournament with a disappointing 4-2 Friday night defeat at the hands of the host Penticton U12 team and never really got going with some poor passing resulting in much less possession of the ball than we are normally used to having.
The Saturday morning game, which was a rematch between the same two teams was marginally better. This time Soccaskool came out on top in a close fought 3-2 win against a much improved and very determined Penticton team.
On Saturday afternoon the sun came out, and seemed to galvanize the Soccaskool team into action, romping to an impressive 7-1 victory against a somewhat shell shocked Shuswap U12 Development Team. Despite falling behind to an early goal, we were able to control the ball much better and create lots of goalscoring chances. The highlight of this match being a nice hat trick Grayson.
The same two teams were matched up again for a Sunday morning game, which was now effectively a semi final with the winners rewarded a place in the tournament final against Penticton. With confidence now returning, Soccaskool were in no mood to give up a cup final spot and played some nice soccer and ran out 9-1 winners to set up a game with Penticton U12 which is scheduled for next Saturday.
Well done to our boys, and good luck in the final next weekend !

This weekend saw the U11-12 Development Team kick off our calendar of events with a road trip to Penticton.
In freezing cold conditions (the heating at the Penticton indoor facility was not working !), we trained for an hour with an inter squad game, followed by back to back hour long matches against Penticton Pinnacles FC U11-12 boys.
The first game started well for us, as we enjoyed long spells of possession and created several chances. However, Penticton can play a bit as well, and it was the host team who took the lead with a stunning strike from Soccaskool old friend Saion. Soccaskool came back pretty strongly after that and soon found themselves with a 3-1 lead, with goals from Daxton, Diego and Reese. Penticton were dangerous on the break though, and the game turned into a pretty entertaining back and forth affair, with the scores tied up at 3-3 by half time. Soccaskool began to assert themselves in the second half. One of the big improvements for our team this year is the depth of quality and competition in our group allowing us to always introduce good quality players from the bench. This Soccaskool U11-12 squad is a formidable group of players, especially when competing with teams at their own age level. This was perfectly demonstrated in our second half performance as we eventually gained control of the match and ran out comfortable 7-3 winners, with further goals from Diego, Reese, and Koen (2) Continue reading U11-12 Development Boys record 2 wins in Penticton→
Our Development Teams were both in action this weekend as we took the road trip to Vernon for a couple of great matches at the Vantage One Indoor Soccer Arena.
Our U10s played first in a match up with a U11 Vernon boys team. Our team enjoyed large spells of possession right from the start of the game. Our players showed their quality as we passed the ball confidently around the field and began to create goalscoring opportunities. The first one came from Sam from the edge of the box, and further goals from Luca and Callum meant that we edged the match 3-2 against a stubborn opponent. Man of the match was Axl, in his new centre midfield position.
